CITIZENS ADVISORY COMMITTEE
The Citizens Advisory Committee is a nine-member group made up citizens that meet monthly. The Committee members are nominated by the Orange County Mayor, each County Commissioner, the Sheriff, and the police union. Review the policy for more details. If you are interested in volunteering for the committee, please contact your Commissioner.
The committee’s mandate is twofold:
- To provide a public forum for constructive dialogue between citizens and law enforcement;
- To study relevant policies and procedures and provide recommendations, if any, for positive change.
Previous recommendations can be found in the Citizens Advisory Committee folder. To view the previously submitted Citizens Advisory Committee Recommendation Reports Click Here.
